Many contaminants may contribute to poor water quality. Sometimes, the source of contamination is simply a natural occurrence in the environment. Rocks containing contaminants such as radon gas, nitrates, arsenic, and lead can contribute to unsafe levels in the water and can only be identified through a water test. Other times, the source may be man-made, such as a failed septic tank, waste from households or industry, or pesticides.
If you have a well on your property, water testing is likely an absolutely necessity. While most homes that get their water from a utility have fairly predictable contaminants, well water is an entirely different story. Depending upon the area that you live, there can be a huge range of poisons, fertilizers, petroleum products and other things in your water supply. Without getting your water tested, you would never be able to successfully remove those contaminants from your water supply.
H & H Inspection Services can review your water test for contaminants and, if your water is found to be at risk, provide options for remediation.
